AN INTRODUCTION TO THE
WINNING THE BATTLE WITHIN WORKBOOK

As an applied extension of the text, the Winning The Battle Within Workbook includes questionnaires, concept explanations and drills
The questionnaires will address strengthening of your mental game. Specifically, you’ll find out about your best performance profile and how to use it while practicing and in competition. Secondly, you’ll learn emotional management – how to control the intensity, direction and duration of your emotions in competition. Thirdly, you’ll discover your own mental toughness, and how to apply your mental game through well-developed pre and post- shot routines.
Through the set of inner-game drills you’ll learn to trust your swing, play more fully in your imaginative mind, and swing automatically. If you are like the overwhelming majority of the players I work with, you will feel your inner game strengthening almost immediately.  The inner-game drills include methods to improve tempo, rhythm, and the synchronization of your swing.
Quality practice drills emphasize simulation of competition You’ll find specific tips on practicing your short game and putting as well as your long game.  Each drill is explained so you can implement it yourself or do it with another person.
For each questionnaire, explanation or drill reference is made to the corresponding section in the text.
